Mammoth
Modern Insulation

Friction fit, polyester insulation designed to maintain outstanding performance.

Mammoth insulation, made entirely from polyester and proudly manufactured in New Zealand, enhances warmth, reduces moisture, improves indoor air quality, and boosts energy efficiency. It's produced using recycled PET 1 fibers from plastic waste.

Mammoth is committed to waste minimization, sustainability, and circularity. By repurposing PET 1 plastic and offering recycling bins in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Christchurch, offcuts and end-of-life insulation are collected, recycled, and remade into new product—reducing landfill waste and supporting a circular economy. Traditional insulation often slumps or settles over time, but Mammoth remains effective for decades, as it resists moisture and won’t degrade.

Mammoth also offers a free H1 calculation/thermal modelling service. This often results in reduced insulation requirements and shows full house energy performance (kWh/m²), including insights into heating, cooling, and potential overheating.

What we like best

Mammoth insulation is different. It doesn't slump or break down, so what you pay for is exactly what you get — insulation that stays in place and performs for the long haul.
